I like to think of my poems as ‘misery with oomph’ taken from observations of life.  I use poetry as a way of expressing my personality. I perform at various poetry events in London and have had a few poems published here and there. I am working towards publishing a book… or maybe two.

Mark Twain (penname of Samuel Langhorne Clemens) in the lab of Nikola Tesla, spring of 1894. Clemens is holding Tesla's experimental vacuum lamp, which is powered by a loop of wire which is receiving electromagnetic energy from a Tesla coil (not visible).

Regarding library week on the BBC here is my contribution about Kensal Rise Library which is now being tampered with. There is continuing confusion as to what will happen to the library. I have blogged before re this beloved place where I found solace and relaxation when recuperating after a major illness. Having no decent computer at the time I was glad to see my council tax was going towards such a worthwhile cause and helped to keep me in touch with the cyber world. It smelt of wood and wax...
