sketchbook drawing by Bobby Baker with chemical paraphernalia on it. Inside a drawn glass vessel is an image of a crouching person

Day 400 from Bobby Baker's series of Diary Drawings

A sketchbook sits on a wooden desk. The drawing is dated Day 400 Wednesday 8th May. The image shows chemists flask with a bunsen burner beneath it. In the flask is a naked man curled up in a blue liquid. The rear half of his body is turning red. Vapour from the burner is directed through a series of glass tubes with purple liquid in the bottom of them. The tubing is supported by metal rods and is placed on a brown wooden desk which matches the desk the sketchbook is photographed on.
