Leading arts organisation Heart n Soul launched its Paralympic Games website Games Through Our Eyes, created by its Media Team, on 23 September 2011 at its Squidz Club for young people with learning difficulties.

The Media Team, made up of six young adults with learning disabilities - Lilly Cook, Dean Rodney, Nicola Holley, Shalim Ali, Poppy Collie and Laura Jarvis - worked on the website from May 2011. Social enterprise Poached Creative helped the team to plan the website, research the Paralympics and create content including photos, video interviews and written articles.
The website has been specially designed to create a place that enables people with learning disabilities to find out about the Games and get involved in disability sport, including engaging with the internet and social media.
