Painting by Natalie Papamichael of two women standing on a pair of scales made from collaged musical notation

An acrylic and collage painting by Natalie Papamichael (1994)

Painting of two stylised women with 1920s hair styles and red pouting lips. They face each other, standing on a collaged set of scales. One wears white angel wings and holds a large no-entry sign. The other figure wears a red dress and holds a bottle with a question mark upon it. The scales are made from musical notation and a series of jigsaw puzzle pieces with writing upon them are scattered around the composition, which is held against a black textured background and is frame by measuring tape.
